Blueberries of All Forms Shine in New Ready-to-Use Marketing Resources and Category Management Data

2019 has been a busy year for promotions across our consumer, foodservice and health professional programs as we work diligently to drive more blueberry consumption in the U.S. Along the way, we’ve added a number of new tools and resources to ushbc.org and BlueberryCouncil.org to assist our growers, marketers and importers with their marketing needs.

Health Benefits Infographic

We continuously publicize scientific research on the health benefits of blueberries so consumers and the health professional community can better understand the role blueberries may play in promoting good health. On-Trend Recipes, Social Friendly Videos 

We know when consumers are looking for recipe inspiration, they’re looking online and on social media. That’s why it’s critical our recipe database is kept up to date with the latest trends and delicious blueberry applications. So far in 2019, we’ve added 20 new USHBC-owned consumer recipes and an additional three from our bench of social media influencers, with more to come. We’ve also provided 12 new chef-created recipes for our audience of foodservice professionals. 

We also introduced new recipe how-to videos for use on social media. This dynamic content provides a new way to bring blueberry cooking to life for our target audience of moderate users. Foodservice Inspiration Video

Chef Jamie Simpson from the Culinary Vegetable Institute worked with USHBC to create an inspiring new video demonstrating the many ways chefs can experiment with blueberries. Category Management Data

We provide an annual update of fresh and frozen blueberry retail sales and volume. Our reports provide a retail channel performance review and seasonal analysis, and are available for download. New in 2020, we’ll provide a report that looks at blueberry sales by season and by organic and conventional segments, so be sure to visit our website in January.
